ShooShoos was created by Joy Lemk in 1995 and is based in Cape Town, South Africa . The shoes were designed with the help of pediatricians and sport shoe institutes to give young feet the healthiest start. No child labor is ever employed for the manufacturing of their products. So far, over 1 million pairs have been sold worldwide. Children up to age six have rigorously tested all their shoes.

Chris Pope purchased Baby Shoos, Inc (the formal business name) in October, 2002, after falling in love and purchasing several pairs of ShooShoos for her twin boys.  In the short time that she's owned the company, the shoe line has expanded from 24 styles to over 50 styles, the website is completely redesigned, and several retail outlets have been added. Baby Shoos, Inc has an outstanding record of superior customer service and is committed to bringing you the finest merchandise on the market.
