Nutpod Sleeping Bags by Babynut

Saralee Sky , co-owner of Babynut, used to make these soft and cozy sleeping bags as gifts for friends and family whenever a new baby was born. Now we offer them to you for your baby, handmade for Babynut by Bertha of Colima Designs. Bertha uses Saralee’s pattern and goes to Mexico a few times each year to find and purchase the colorful fabric used on the outside of the Nutpod.

The Nutpod is made of 100% acrylic fabric from Mexico on the outside, lined with 100% soft cotton flannel on the inside, and quilt batting in between. The Nutpod is hand sewn along the bottom and has three ties along the vertical opening to keep your baby snug as a bug in a rug! Babies won’t scooch out of the Nutpod and so end up without their covers.

Use the Nutpod for those times you need to set the baby down to nap in her cradle or crib. It’s a great way to travel with baby: the soft cuddly Nutpod will be familiar to your baby in away-from-home situations, like visiting with grandparents or in a hotel.

Approximately 20 inches wide and 30 inches long, it is machine washable and dryable. Fold the top edge over to show off the inside fabric and give your baby breathing room. The inside flannel design varies. Choose from different colorful Mexican patterns for the outside fabric.
